Karen Stawasz joined the staff of TWOgether Pittsburgh in April, 2007 as Administrative Assistant. Before joining TWOgether Pittsburgh, she was employed by the U.S. Senate for five years. Up until that time, she had a long career in the insurance industry, working in customer service, underwriting and as a licensed insurance agent.

Having gone through a difficult divorce herself, she has a heart for those who are dealing with the issues of marriage and is very encouraged by the potential that TWOgether Pittsburgh has to not only make good marriages better, but to offer hope to marriages that are struggling. Although she believes in the whole program, she feels that the segment on teaching teenagers how to develop good relationships is vital to a good marriage foundation. Karen is happily married to John Stawasz and has three grown step children and one step-granddaughter. They are members of Clinton Wesleyan Church and are actively involved in many church activities.
