Jen spent the first part of her career as an information technology consultant, traveling nationally to implement new systems for clients. During this time, she stayed in wonderful places, experienced local traditions and dined in choice restaurants; she also experienced endless airport delays, lost luggage, and missed connections. These experiences helped Jen become both a pioneer and a navigator, the juxtaposition of two unique skills sets which serve her well in the field of relationships.
Once Jen realized she knew more about other cities than her own, she decided to refocus her energies in the field of education -- her first love. She earned a master’s degree in education from Waynesburg College, and teaches classes in a variety of settings on communications, basic skills, bible study, and the principles of adult education. Jen is delighted to be working in Pittsburgh on an initiative that focuses on the region’s key assets: its people. Because she recently transitioned from single life to married life, Jen is both authentic and enthusiastic about helping couples and singles prepare for their marriages.
